Workshop Leads & Performative Pitchers
A chance to try something new with some supportive listeners around.

Evgenia Chetvertkova
THE ENTRANCE
Quick blurb: At the center is a “device” that looks like a Bluetooth speaker, but instead of playing music, it broadcasts a person’s inner thoughts out loud. I’ll connect it to myself, so at some point, the pitch will be “taken over” by the other voices in my head.
Lake Studios Berlin, 4.7
5pm-5:30pm

Alex Doyle
& Madeline Robertson
one scene for Existence
Quick blurb: inspired by research into the Tao Te Ching and Taoist thought. “one scene for Existence” will be a structured and adaptive score exploring concepts of Eastern thought in performance as an abstraction of nature and the way of Tao.
Lake Studios Berlin, 4.7
5:45pm-6:15pm
@aplaythingoutofromance & @alexandradoyle

Evelin Uus
gentle hardcore
Quick blurb:A workshop at the intersection of contemporary dance and unconventional movement practices—like striptease, pole dance, and raving—designed to build deep trust and gently expand our comfort zones through playful, sensual, and technically grounded somatic exploration.
Lake Studios Berlin 4.7
2:30pm-4:15pm

Katsia Kaya
Becoming a Pamina
Quick blurb:Invites participants of all backgrounds to explore voice and body through feeling rather than performance, using fragments of Pamina’s arias from The Magic Flute, somatic movement, breath, and vocal play to access strength, softness, and emotional truth before anything becomes polished.
LAKE Studios Berlin 5.7 @ 4:15pm-5:45pm
about Katsia
PC: Anna Malgina

Carro Sharkey
Cruising Utopia- A performance for Parks and Public Toilets
Quick blurb: Cruising Utopia is a site-specific dance theatre work invoking the queer act of “cruising” to be performed in public parks across Europe. In this work cruising becomes both a physical, spiritual, and psychological practice.
LAKE Studios Berlin 5.7 @ 6pm-6:30pm
no tickets- come as you are
PC Katie Day Weisberger

Pamela Moraga
Gig (working title)
Quick blurb: A performance that offers an intimate glimpse into the life of a professional dancer in Berlin. Through a combination of personal storytelling and dynamic choreography, this project explores the ongoing efforts to make a living as a dancer amidst the socio-economic challenges of today's precarious conditions for artists in Berlin
Lake Studios Berlin 5.7 @ 6:30pm-7pm
no tickets come as you are

Works In Progress Guest Artists
Berlin based artists- Works in Progress presenters, in order of appearance of festival schedule above.

Ruthie Scarpino
Love at First Flight
Themes: Absurd, Poetic, Heartfelt
Lake Studios Berlin, 5.7 @ 7:30pm
Triple Bill Tickets
Quick blurb:
Love at First Flight is a physical comedy and object manipulation piece that tells the quirky, heartfelt story of a crow falling in love with a dress. It explores love and lust—entirely through the body, using the expressive language of Corporeal Mime, clown, mask, and object theatre. Corporeal Mime is a very specific movement technique rooted in physical training that creates art through the motion of the body—not pictures or narration on stage.

Marilyn Nova White
You’re Hired – Don't dream it, BE it!
Themes: Work-Fantasy, Drag Disruption, Becoming
Lake Studios Berlin, 5.7 @ 7:30pm
Triple Bill Tickets
Quick blurb:
A drag-infused, office-scented, pleasure-driven search for possibility – in a world that keeps asking us to perform ourselves to exhaustion. It all starts with a choreography of work: stapling, sorting, nodding, surviving. A Drag King in a sharp power suit enters the stage – crisp collar, clipboard, firm handshake. He’s here to conduct job interviews. With the audience.
