ROOTED: is our 'self made' space to grow
Rooted is designed to bridge the gap between international artists and Berlin’s vibrant local arts scene. Our mission is to empower creatives as they navigate the unique challenges of working in a foreign landscape—while also responding to the diverse needs of the local community.
We’ve cultivated different “roots” within the Rooted Program—Festivals, Pitch Opportunities, Workshops, Networking Events, and Webinars—using our shared experiences and resources to build connections in Berlin and beyond.

Rooted Festival
Established in 2022 to connect international artists in Berlin's diverse arts' scene. Hosted at Acker Stadt Palast

Rooted: Pitch & Perform
Established in 2024 to offer a space for the 'in-between' community settings, casual and chill. Meet new friends and sip an aperitif talk about your wildest artistic dreams. Trial workshop ideas, pitches & works in progress.

Rooted: Sustaining Life in the Arts Series
Established in 2022 as course to offer shared experiences as producers, PR people and business owners. Taught in different settings and occassions as guests or independently.

Rooted: Arrival
A workshop designed for emerging artists and recent graduates. Participants are led by two guest choreographers for 5 days, at the end of the session- a pop up performance takes place. Headshots and video material are distributed for students to use for audition endevours.
