Pamela Pietro
everything I thought I knew but...
LAKE Studios Berlin, 4.7 @ 7pm
Quick Blurb: Trauma doesn't invite itself into our neuromuscular/neurocellular system but is let in by society. Unwanted, it disrupts the natural cadence of a living body, an embodied practice. Trauma lives in the limbic system and the body remembers what happens to it over the course of a lifetime. My choreographic choices grapple with the act of what is remembered versus what is unknown. When investigating a body (my body) inside choreography, I see not only a moving form, but the human power and its force. These investigations result in physical manifestations of qualitative research bound inside a path, a story, a way of acknowledging the remembering.
premiere Spring 2018 @ 92nd St Y, New York, NY
PC: still from film

GREYZONE
BLOOM
LAKE Studios Berlin, 4.7 @ 7:15pm
Quick Blurb: BLOOM explores the disruption of codified “femininity” and to arrive at freer embodiments of the female form. Incorporating playful contact into formal movement rituals, the women expand the bounds of their relationships and discover authentic physicalities.
premiere November 2018, at The Dance Gallery Festival at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, in NYC
AMPLITUDE
LAKE Studios Berlin, 5.7 @ 7:30pm
Quick Blurb: Combines movement and visual design into a collage of human experience. Performers shift through states of isolation, effort, intimacy, connection and power, suggesting a mystery that is just on the edge of being revealed. Through a process of deconstructing and reprocessing the groups collective movement histories, the dancers’ vulnerability is exposed, inviting audiences to see their own humanity reflected back to them.
A version of the work premiered at Mark Morris Dance Center on September 20th and 21st 2024. An excerpt of the dance was performed in October 2023 at the 14th St Y Theater as part of Pioneers Go East Collective’s Crossroad Series.

Rhiannon Morgan
AdH(A)rA
LAKE Studios Berlin, 4.7 @ 8:30pm
Quick Blurb: A meditative journey that follows one woman — and through her, all women — as she confronts grief, loss, and the search for wholeness. Rooted in Buddhist philosophy, it explores how we construct the self through intimate, emotional, and sensorial processes, moving through chaos, mourning, and acceptance toward renewal. Adhara invites the audience into a raw space where mourning becomes not an end, but a beginning — a place to feel, to share, to expand, and to live again.
premiere on the 3rd, November 2020 Trois C-L, Luxembourg
Supported by Kultur LX
PC: still from Clementine

Pamela Pietro & Jesse Zaritt
dance for no ending
AckerStadt Palast 7.7 @ 8pm
Quick Blurb: This duet is an experiment in accumulation and dissolution; we are interested in the making and un-making of ourselves. Through incessant dancing, we attempt to exhaustively examine, negotiate, inflate and undermine the behaviors, movement vocabularies and patterns of effort that produce what we think of as ourselves. We are interested in activating unstable modes of figuration, ecstatically unsettled bodies.
premiere April 2025 @ LaMaMa, NYC

Venera Kazarova
When Kissing a Flower
AckerStadt Palast 7.7 @ 8:30pm
Quick Blurb: With performers: Sofya Shaikut, Liza Polyakova, Mariya Beatty. This piece is a metaphor for fragile life — life that blooms, trembles, and fades all too quickly. The act of kissing a flower becomes a symbol of intimacy with something fleeting: a tender gesture toward beauty that cannot last. Venera Kazarova creates work that often begins with visual research, and is then translated into embodied actions and performative scores.
world premiere at Rooted
PC: Venera Kazarova

ATÕMI & Anthony Nakhlé
جوهر Jawhar
AckerStadt Palast 7.7 @ 9pm
Quick Blurb: A ritual-performance/video installation, meant to showcase the body and surrender the soul. The first instalment of the project is an interactive performance with space and audience, conceptualized and designed by the synergic work of Anthony Nakhlé [performer, choreographer] and Lorenzo Setti (ATŌMI) [music producer, sound artist].
premiere September 2022 @ Delphi Theater, Berlin
PC: Michele Iaccarino- Courtesy Marea Art Project

Evgenia Chetvertkova
THE ENTRANCE- Performative Pitch
LAKE Studios Berlin, 4.7 @ 5pm-5:30pm
Quick blurb: At the center is a “device” that looks like a Bluetooth speaker, but instead of playing music, it broadcasts a person’s inner thoughts out loud. I’ll connect it to myself, so at some point, the pitch will be “taken over” by the other voices in my head.
no tickets- come as you are, pay what you can

Alexandra Doyle & Madeline Robertson w. Nikita Proshkin
one scene for Existence - Performative Pitch
LAKE Studios Berlin, 4.7 @ 5:45pm-6:15pm

Evelin Uus
gentle hardcore - Movement Trial Workshop
LAKE Studios Berlin 5.7 @ 4pm-5:30pm

Pamela Moraga
Gig (working title) - Performative Pitch
LAKE Studios Berlin 5.7 @ 6:30pm-7pm
Quick blurb: A performance that offers an intimate glimpse into the life of a professional dancer in Berlin. Through a combination of personal storytelling and dynamic choreography, this project explores the ongoing efforts to make a living as a dancer amidst the socio-economic challenges of today's precarious conditions for artists in Berlin

Works In Progress Guest Artists
Berlin based artists- Works in Progress presenters, in order of appearance of festival schedule above.

Ruthie Scarpino
Love at First Flight
Lake Studios Berlin, 5.7 @ 8:20pm a part of the Triple Bill
Quick blurb:
Love at First Flight is a physical comedy and object manipulation piece that tells the quirky, heartfelt story of a crow falling in love with a dress. It explores love and lust—entirely through the body, using the expressive language of Corporeal Mime, clown, mask, and object theatre. Corporeal Mime is a very specific movement technique rooted in physical training that creates art through the motion of the body—not pictures or narration on stage.

Marilyn Nova White
You’re Hired – Don't dream it, BE it!
Lake Studios Berlin, 5.7 @ 8:40pm a part of the Triple Bill
Quick blurb:
A drag-infused, office-scented, pleasure-driven search for possibility – in a world that keeps asking us to perform ourselves to exhaustion. It all starts with a choreography of work: stapling, sorting, nodding, surviving. A Drag King in a sharp power suit enters the stage – crisp collar, clipboard, firm handshake. He’s here to conduct job interviews. With the audience.
